Welcome to attend the 24thCongress of Chinese Ophthalmological Society (CCOS 2019), the biggest Chinese ophthalmic congress of the year which will be held in the beautiful city Suzhou, during September 4-8, 2019.
After decades of growth and maturation, the successive contributions by our predecessors, the CCOS become a large scale and international influence platform for eye care exchange. CCOS 2019 will cover all aspects of ophthalmology and visual science, as well as advances in world up-to-date clinical and basic research. We are honored that more than 700 invited speakers from USA, UK, Germany, Netherlands, Poland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Israel, Singapore, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, India, Thailand, Pakistan and China, over 10 thousand ophthalmologists will take part in the congress. Besides the traditional highlights such as Plenary Session, Subspecialty and Multi-discipline Session, Continuing Education, Live Surgery etc., COS-AAO Chapter in China Forum, Joint Meeting of Chinese-Japanese Korean Ophthalmologists and Mainland, Taiwan, and Hong Kong Ophthalmology Forum will certainly bring you an impressive academic journey. We will also provide simultaneous translation in several symposiums, and tried our best to let the delegates more enjoy the dynamic scientific program in Suzhou.
2019 marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of People’s Republic of China. With the theme of CCOS 2019 “Protecting the sight, greeting the 70th birthday of China”, it is a good time to celebrate the outstanding achievements of Chinese ophthalmology.
